Melissa Schneider

Melissa Schneider has been in the bodywork and movement field for over 16 years: a path that started with yoga studies in Mysore, India with Ashtanga Yoga founder, Pattabhi Jois, and internationally renown teacher, Tias Little. After becoming a certified massage therapist in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy and Shiatsu in 2002, she traveled to Thailand and Laos to study Osteopathic Thai Massage. In pursuit of advanced movement techniques and a deeper anatomical focus, Melissa completed a 2 year program at the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in 2014. As a Certified Rolfer, she is now working towards her Aston Patterning certification with movement pioneer Judith Aston. Melissa's sessions focus on injury prevention and rehabilitation and in assisting her clients in the discovery of how movement, at any age, can come with ease, fluidity and joy.
